Meerkat CRM is written in Go, so it compiles to a single fast, resource-efficient binary that runs on very low-powered hardware. The project explicitly targets minimal resource usage, making it accessible on a small VPS or even a Raspberry Pi. All data is stored locally on your own server.

Meerkat CRM stores all of its data locally on your own server, so your contacts and interaction history are never sent to a third party. It is MIT-licensed and open source, so you can inspect exactly what it does and self-host it under your own control. This privacy-first design is a core reason it exists as an alternative to hosted SaaS CRMs.
