SearXNG

SearXNG is a free, open-source internet metasearch engine that aggregates results from more than 70 search services and databases. It is a privacy-respecting alternative to proprietary search engines like Google Search, Bing, and DuckDuckGo.

Unlike commercial search engines, SearXNG does not track users, profile behavior, or serve targeted advertisements. Queries are sent to multiple search engines simultaneously and results are aggregated into a single, unbiased list. Users can self-host their own instance for complete control over their search experience.

SearXNG is highly customizable, supporting custom themes, engine preferences, and filter configurations. It is the spiritual predecessor to newer search aggregators like degoog and remains one of the most mature and widely deployed open-source meta-search solutions available.
