Sunoh is Android-only and requires Android 7.0 or newer. Release APKs are published on GitHub Releases for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, and x86_64 devices, and the recommended install route is Obtainium, which tracks the repo's releases and installs updates automatically. The app can also check for and install updates itself. There is no iOS, desktop, or web version.

No. There is no sign-in anywhere in the app and no user identity is created. The developer states there are no analytics of any kind — the Firebase SDK was removed outright rather than made optional — and on-device music is read through MediaStore and never leaves the phone. SponsorBlock lookups only send a short hash prefix of a video id.

Yes. Sunoh can import your playlists from Spotify. Imported playlists live alongside your liked songs and recently played history in the app's library, and you can also create your own playlists and download tracks for offline listening.

Yes. Sunoh supports full browse and playback in Android Auto, including Downloads, Liked Songs, Recently Played, playlists, radio stations, and voice search, plus its Music, Podcasts, and Audiobooks feeds. Downloads are surfaced first in the car, since they keep working when the network drops.

Yes. Sunoh displays synced lyrics fetched from LRCLIB, a free, open lyrics database, while a track is playing. Combined with the mpv audio engine, the app also offers an equalizer, a sleep timer, Chromecast casting, and a media notification with a working seekbar during background playback.
