CrawlSEO

Self-hosted SEO monitoring dashboard with Google Search Console, a 2,000-page site crawler, Core Web Vitals, and a built-in MCP server for AI agents.

CrawlSEO is an open-source SEO monitoring dashboard that combines Google Search Console analytics, a 2,000-page site crawler, Core Web Vitals tracking, and a built-in Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in a single self-hosted application. It is positioned as a free, founder-friendly alternative to enterprise platforms like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Moz — aimed at indie makers and small teams who want their SEO data on their own infrastructure rather than behind a monthly subscription.

The platform uses a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for paid data sources like DataForSEO keyword research and backlinks, with a free Google Autocomplete fallback for users who do not want to provide API keys. Authentication runs through Google OAuth so users can pull their own Search Console data without sharing credentials with a third party. The full stack ships in Docker Compose and starts in roughly two minutes, including a PostgreSQL database and Prisma-managed migrations.

CrawlSEO also ships an MCP server exposing 10 tools for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Cursor — letting AI agents query site overviews, keywords, pages, traffic, vitals, and run crawls directly from the terminal. Beyond the headline features it includes rank tracking with historical snapshots, SEO opportunity detection (striking distance keywords, low CTR, content decay, cannibalization), and alerts via email, Slack, Telegram, and webhook for traffic drops, position changes, new 404s, and vitals degradation.
