RavenPass

RavenPass is a free, open-source password manager for macOS and Android that keeps passwords, passkeys, two-factor codes, payment cards, identities with document scans, secure notes and crypto wallet seeds in a single encrypted vault. Every item is encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it is written anywhere, and unlocking is bound to your device's secure hardware such as the Secure Enclave on Macs or the Android Keystore. The desktop app is built with Go and React on the Wails framework, and the Android autofill extension is native.

RavenPass is local-first and account-free: there is no sign-up, no subscription and no vendor cloud. Your vault lives on your device, or in any cloud drive folder you choose if you want the same vault on your computer and phone. It integrates with your operating system's own autofill, so passwords, passkeys and one-time codes fill in any app or browser — macOS AutoFill on Mac, the Android autofill service and passkey provider on phones, plus a Chrome extension that stores no secrets and talks to the desktop app over an end-to-end encrypted local connection. Unlocking works with your fingerprint, screen lock or a PIN, and RavenPass fetches site icons and, on Android, app-trust checks as its only network activity — no analytics or telemetry.

Where 1Password, LastPass, Dashlane and NordPass are subscription services that hold your vault on their servers behind an account, RavenPass keeps the vault file in your hands and charges nothing. Compared with KeePassXC-style vault managers, its distinguishing focus is native autofill integration across the system. Automatic encrypted backups to a folder you choose and a 24-word recovery key protect against lockouts, and importing passwords from other password managers takes a few clicks. Note that RavenPass is in beta, so keep a backup of anything you store in it.
