SigNoz
Open-source observability platform with logs, traces, and metrics — an alternative to Datadog and New Relic.
Open source alternative to:
SigNoz is an open-source Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and observability platform that brings together logs, distributed traces, and metrics in a single unified interface. It is built natively on OpenTelemetry, making it vendor-neutral and easy to instrument existing applications.
As a self-hosted alternative to Datadog and New Relic, SigNoz eliminates the unpredictable per-host billing of commercial observability tools. It supports deep tracing of microservices and databases, custom dashboards, alerting, and exception monitoring. The storage layer is powered by ClickHouse, giving it excellent query performance at scale.
SigNoz supports all major languages and frameworks through OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation — including Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, PHP, and Go. Its intuitive flamegraph-style trace viewer and pre-built service map make it easy to diagnose latency issues and errors across distributed systems.
