Vince is a self-hosted web analytics platform focused on privacy and operational simplicity. It tracks visitor behaviour — page views, sessions, traffic sources, custom events, goal conversions, file downloads, outbound links, and 404 errors — with a tracking script under 1KB that has no noticeable impact on page load time. The platform is fully GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant without requiring cookie consent banners.

Vince is distributed as a single binary with no external runtime dependencies, making deployment and maintenance straightforward. It manages its own TLS certificates automatically and uses a custom columnar storage engine built on Compressed Roaring Bitmaps for fast, efficient queries. An unlimited number of websites and events can be tracked in a single installation.
