Renewlet is a self-hosted subscription ledger for tracking recurring charges and sending renewal reminders. It records renewal dates, prices, currencies, categories, payment methods, logos, budgets, and notes, and normalizes everything into monthly and yearly cost views with budget usage, category charts, and payment-method breakdowns.

Reminders are timezone-aware: each user sets an IANA time zone, a local notification time, reminder days, and repeat reminders, with delivery history and failed-send retries. Notifications go out through Telegram, Notifyx, webhooks, WeCom Bot, SMTP email, Bark, ServerChan, Discord, and PushPlus.

Renewlet ships as a single Docker container (React, Go/PocketBase, SQLite) or can run entirely on Cloudflare Workers with D1, R2, and Cron Triggers for a serverless setup. It also offers AI recognition for bill screenshots, notes, CSV/TSV, and pasted table text, global and per-subscription ICS calendar feeds, public subscription status pages, and Wallos file imports — making it a privacy-friendly, self-hosted replacement for subscription trackers like Rocket Money, Bobby, and TrackMySubs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I deploy Renewlet?

Renewlet runs as a single Docker container with a quick-start deploy script that generates docker-compose.yml, environment variables, and encryption keys. Alternatively, it can be deployed on Cloudflare Workers using D1 for the database, R2 for storage, and Cron Triggers for reminders. A live demo is available on the project website.

Which notification channels does Renewlet support?

Renewlet sends reminders through Telegram, Notifyx, generic webhooks, WeCom Bot, SMTP email, Bark, ServerChan, Discord, and PushPlus. Reminders are based on each user's IANA time zone and local notification time, support reminder days and repeat reminders, and include delivery history with failed-send retries.

Can I import existing subscription data into Renewlet?

Yes. Renewlet can import Wallos files in addition to its own export format, and it offers AI recognition for bill screenshots, notes, CSV/TSV files, and pasted table text. AI-generated drafts are reviewed before they are imported, so nothing enters your ledger unreviewed.

Does Renewlet work with calendar apps?

Yes. Renewlet provides a global private ICS feed covering all subscriptions, plus a separate calendar feed per subscription, so renewal dates can appear in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any other ICS-compatible app.

What authentication options does Renewlet support?

Renewlet supports authenticator app codes (TOTP), one-time recovery codes, and passkey sign-in for account security.
