LinkAce
Self-hosted archive and bookmark manager built with Laravel, featuring automatic archiving, monitoring for dead links, and list organization.
LinkAce is a self-hosted web application for archiving and managing your bookmarks. Built with Laravel, it goes beyond basic bookmarking by automatically monitoring saved links for availability and archiving them via the Wayback Machine to protect against link rot. Bookmarks can be organized with tags and lists, and the interface supports private and public visibility per link.
Features include automated broken link checking, Wayback Machine integration for archival, import and export in standard formats, a REST API for external access, bookmark search, and support for multiple user accounts. The application also has a guest mode for sharing public bookmark collections.
LinkAce is straightforward to self-host with Docker Compose and supports both MySQL and SQLite as backends. It is particularly well-suited as a self-hosted alternative to Pinboard for users who want link archiving alongside organization, and to Raindrop.io for those who prioritize data ownership and link longevity.
